Mission

The task of the Legal/Professional & Government Affairs (LEG/PGA) Portfolio is to represent AusALPA and airline pilots in legal, professional and government affairs matters by:

• Monitoring and studying legal and professional developments in the Australian aviation industry which may impact the airline pilot;
• Developing policies associated with legal and professional developments related to the profession of the airline pilot;
• Compiling, analysing, and disseminating information on government policy, legal, and regulatory issues; and
• Advising and contributing to the LEG and PGA Committees of IFALPA on international legal and professional matters.
